Which Airlines Fly Into Split, Croatia? COMPLETE List of Direct Flights

I think I’ll always remember flying into Split for the first time. It was a month before we were going to get married there (having never set foot in the country before!), and I was immediately blown away by how gorgeous Croatia is, even from the airport itself. Its beauty keeps calling us to come back... and if you’re anything like us, knowing which airlines fly directly to a country is really helpful when making plans to visit. The only thing worse than a layover is a layover that involves changing airlines, claiming and re-checking baggage, and going back through security, right?

When I was trying to research flights to Split, I found that other posts on the topic only list a small handful of the airlines that actually fly there. With that in mind, I decided to make an absolutely comprehensive list. Below you’ll find every airline with direct flights to Split, plus a list of which cities those flights come from, and a general schedule of the flights.

Thanks to Flight Connections for making it easier to find a lot of this information! I’ve also researched with other flight sites like Google Flights and Skyscanner, as well as the Split airport’s own official list of airlines that fly there (which, mysteriously, contains airlines that don’t fly to Split as well as several that are no longer in operation at all). Whew! If you know of any flights or airlines I missed, please let me know in the comments so we can make this the most comprehensive list available anywhere!

Good News and Bad News:

The good news is that there are tons of airlines that fly into Split, especially considering what a relatively small destination and airport it is. The bad news is that all of the direct flights into Split are from relatively close destinations; the furthest east you’ll get is Moscow, and the furthest west is Dublin. In other words, you won’t find any direct flights from the US, Australia, India, Southeast Asia, or anywhere else far away from Split.

Keep in Mind:

Not all of these airlines have flights every day, especially not from every city listed. Just because you see an airline and city listed here doesn’t mean you’ll be able to find exactly the flight you want on exactly the right day. Split is one of those cities with very seasonal flights, meaning many of these routes operate mainly (or only) during the summer months. During the rest of the year, you’ll find that your choices for

Of course, at the time of writing in March 2020, coronavirus is seriously impacting many airlines and their schedules. Even if there’s a regularly scheduled flight into Split coming up soon, be aware that the situation is constantly changing and it may be cancelled. For example, right now it’s impossible to find a direct flight from Rome to Split due to the situation in Italy, even though these flights usually run frequently.

Finally, all of the dates and schedules here are approximate. You’ll need to dig into the exact schedules as you book your flight, but the detailed information here should help you figure out what your options are. Since the list of airlines and departure cities is so long, I recommend doing a control-F or command-F to search for the airline you want to use or the city you plan to fly from.
